Igor’s talent has been carefully cultivated over the course of the last thirteen years – centered in New York City on the legendary Fifth Avenue. His formal training began under the care of Mr. Louis Licari, as his color assistant for three years before he felt he was ready to branch out into hair styling as well. Even as a hair stylist apprentice, Igor’s talent for turning dull manes into luscious locks shone through, and, despite his unorthodox hair stylist career path, his passion for styling led him to become a sought-after hair stylist in New York City.

Igor has built an impeccable reputation paying superior attention to both the inside and outside of a woman’s head. After working in New York City over 13 years Igor has chosen to open his own salon, bringing a taste of the glamour and grace of uptown with the youth and vitality of downtown to White, Plains, NY.

During his tenure as a hair stylist, Igor was able to garner valuable experience as he contributed to numerous runway shows for New York Fashion Week. In addition to being behind the scenes of the top fashion houses, Igor had the opportunity to work in the Ambush Makeover Segment, transforming the looks of over a hundred people, for the Today Show.

Variety is truly the spice of his life, whether in studio on a fashion shoot, getting celebrities ready for the red carpet, or behind the chair with his loyal clientele at the salon – everything is done with the same love of hairstyling and excellence.

Hwa Kang

Master Stylist

Kang was born and raised in South Korea where he found his passion for hair. He started his journey as a stylist at Se Jong, a well-known, high-end salon in Apgujeong, Korea. After a few years of sharing his talent with Korea, he was eventually drawn into the hustle and bustle of New York City where he styled on photoshoots and fashion shows including New York Fashion Week!

He started his new york salon journey at the Kim Lepine salon where he worked closely under Kim herself refining and cultivating his talent as a stylist. He then decided to move to the salon where Kim started her journey, with the infamous Louis Licari! Kang worked at the Louis Licari salon until he had enough of the crazy city and decided he needed some peace and quiet. Kang moved to Fort Lee, New Jersey, and worked at the Allure in Englewood, NJ until he decided to bring his journey out to us in the city of White Plains!

Kang’s inspiration is seeing beautiful hair may it be in person, on the street, in movies, in fashion shows, or maybe even airports! When Kang is not gracing us with his talents in the salon, you can find him out enjoying nature. He enjoys being outdoors whether it’s just a long walk, an invigorating hike, or even a nice game of golf!

Bulent Isiyel

HAIR STYLIST / EDITORIAL ARTIST

Passionate, creative, and artistic: three words commonly used to describe Bulent. Bulent was born and raised in Mersin, Turkey. He found his passion for hair at an early age, and has been in the profession for 34 years. After moving to Istanbul at the age of 22, he worked for performers, photograph artists, and international directors. He earned his Master Tutorial Certificate, and attended classes of TONI&GUY, and Vidal Sassoon. He opened his own salon in 2002. After being an owner for 10 years, he went to Azerbaijan, and worked as a stylist and hair consultant for Azad Azerbaijan TV. He then went to Kazakhstan and worked as a master stylist in Dessange Beauty Institute. In 2015, he came to New York with an O-1 Visa, which is granted only to professionals with Extraordinary Ability or Achievement in their chosen field of expertise. He previously worked at an award winning salon in White Plains for 7 years.

In his free time, Bulent enjoys spending time with his wife, and daughter. He thanks them both for inspiring him every day!

Lois Stoeffhaas

Lois is a dedicated hair expert who has been working in the beauty industry for 40 years and counting. Her work continues to shine through each and every one of her clients, receiving immediate gratification seeing a smile on their face. Lois is specialized in cut and color for all curly hair types! During her career, she has worked and trained with Devachan/DevaCurl and DEVA-White Plains from 2006 – 2017. She is a Level 3 Deva Curl Expert! Along her journey she had the privilege to work alongside Trevor Sorbie, American Board of Certified Haircolorist,  Martin Parsons, RARE Salon and Sassoon. Her passion for the industry does not stop only in salon; Lois also has crafted her skills in the entertainment industry! Lois has created looks in the theater, both on and off Broadway, in Indie-Films, on the runway, on Billboards, in magazines, & corporate annual reports. Sigrid Marvel

Hair Stylist & Hair Color Specialist

Renowned Australian hairstylist Sigrid Marvel has been working in the United States for 10 years. She brings her international talent to the Igor M Salon, having trained in Sydney and London at the World Class Vidal Sassoon Academy.

Sigrid apprenticed under award-winning British Stylist Keith Archer at his boutique Salon Strobe hair in Paddington, Sydney. Boasting over 20 years of experience in coloring and haircutting, her skills have long been sought after by the international fashion and music industry.

Working closely with hit television show Australian Idol, Sigrid played a key role alongside music executives in reinventing looks for upcoming artists. She was very much the stylist of choice when music artists were on tour and making special appearances. Moreover, she has styled the looks of many prominent international celebrities, including Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas; British supermodel Gail Elliot; British girl band The Bond Girls; Australian Fashion Designer Carla Zampatti; Australian actress Claudia Carvan; and Australian singer Wendy Matthews.

Sigrid’s love for her craft is palpable, and her passion for excellence in styling, and for creating the optimal looks for her many clients sets her at the peak of her profession. Her deep pride in her work, and her friendly and charming manner puts clients at great ease, establishing a profound and warm rapport with all around her. Carine Carrea – Coca

Carine Carrea – Coca With over 20 years in the business, Carine Carrea-Coca began her senior colorist career at some of New York City’s top salons – such as Cutler, Bumble & Bumble, Louis Licari, & Beth Minardi.Through her passion for color, she also eventually opened her own salon in Scarsdale, New York. After 3 years of being an owner and missing the energy and ability to learn from creative teamworks, she decided to divide her time between Igor M Salon to reunite with fellow colleagues as well as a Manhattan Salon.

In between her love for working, she spends her time keeping up with her three kids and her dog. With the kids in each different milestones, one in college, high school, and middle school, she is always ready to go. But when she is on her own she enjoys kicking back with a good book.

Matilda Brahimi

Hair Color Specialist

Matilda started her journey to become a colorist under the extraordinary training at the Louis Licari Salon on 5th Ave NYC and continued to flourish her color skills through other intensive apprentice programs. Her career boasts being resident Senior Colorist at Award-Winning Salons in Westchester County NY and Darien CT.

Matilda has been a licensed colorist for eight years and also has a background in a high fashion which she infuses into her hair color to truly transform her client’s looks. She lights up a room with her radiant, positive energy and her love for artistry is unsurpassable.

Matilda is married to a restaurant owner in Connecticut and has two gorgeous daughters who inspire her every day!
